Vladimír Bužek
Prof. Dr. Vladimír Bužek received both his MSc (1982) and PhD (1985) in theoretical physics from the Moscow State University . His research interests are focused on theoretical quantum optics, quantum information sciences including quantum measurement theory, quantum learning and quantum artificial intelligence. Over years he was a visiting professor at a number of academic institutions including the Imperial College, London (UK), National University of Ireland, Maynooth (Ireland), University of Ulm (Germany), SOKEN (Japan), University of Queensland (Australia), Sogang University (South Korea), etc.
Presently he is a researcher at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. In addition to his research work he has been serving on various national, European, and international advisory and scientific boards. He acted as the science goodwill ambassador between V4 countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia) and Japan. Presently he is a member of the Quantum Flagship Strategic Advisory Board.
