Nils John Schumacher

Nils John Schumacher is the Chief Legal and People Officer of Indivumed GmbH, a 2002 founded integrated global oncology company which strives for leveraging the world’s premier multi-omics oncology database IndivuType™ and highest quality biobank to develop a true picture of cancer. Indivumed is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, has an affiliate in the US, and closely collaborates with clinical partners throughout Europe, the US, and Asia.
In some 25 years of professional experience, Nils has served as a legal advisor, HR director and corporate secretary with a venture capital and private equity-financed multinational start-up, an internationally operating developer and distributor of software solutions and IT media, an IT business consultancy, and a US law firm, with a particular emphasis on contract, corporate and IP law.
A qualified lawyer (diploma from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen and Bavarian state examinations) and an admitted solicitor, Nils holds a European master’s degree in business mediation from IUKB Sion, as well as a university diploma in business administration from Hagen University.
