Maja Tomanic Vidovic

Maja Tomanic Vidovic possesses more than 20 years of progressive experience in the field of entrepreneurship development and business finance. Her professional history includes positions such as state secretary at the ministry of economy in Republic of Slovenia and deputy director and CEO at Slovene Enterprise fund-SEF. As the CEO for last 11 years, her responsibilities included management of active portfolio in entrepreneur sector in amount of 700 mio EUR, including special grants, microcredits, guarantees for bank loans, seed and venture capital, and more than 7000 active projects of SMEs, with high level professional stuff. As CEO she is also responsible for engagement with key stakeholders from ministries, covered economy, development, technology, finance and EU cooperation, from Chamber of Craft, Chamber of Commerce and Association of Banks in Slovenia. She also has a lot of experience with project or strategic programmes advocacy with government or European counterparts (European Commission - DG for entrepreneurship, EIB, EIF), partner organisations or associations.
