Julien Chiaroni

Program Manager, General Secretariat for Investments

In his capacity of Director of Strategy and List Programs, CEA Institute for Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, he participated and implemented the institute's AI strategy and developed partnerships between research and industry. His work focused especially on the topic of trust of AI and its implementation in embedded systems. Prior to this, he held operational positions with increasing responsibilities, both scientific and managerial, and contributed to numerous partnership research projects, particularly for transfer to industry, in the digital domain. Program Manager from 2008 to 2010, he coordinated the nanosciences and nanotechnologies program of the National Research Agency (ANR), with about 35 to 40 M € per year. At the service of the State abroad from 2010 to 2012, Julien Chiaroni held the position of Attaché for scientific and academic cooperation at the Consulate of France in Hong Kong and Macao and thus contributes to the strengthening of our bilateral relations in the fields of research and higher education, for example with the signing of a partnership for project funding between the RGC and the ANR. Julien Chiaroni is an engineer graduated from ENSPG (Phelma), a master's degree in materials from Grenoble-INP and a master's degree in "Humanités Digitales" from Sciences Po.
